Wattie’s and Salvation Army celebrated our 25th year of partnership in 2018. We have an ongoing successful and longstanding relationship aimed at making sure Salvation Army has a foodbank available to help New Zealanders meet their basic needs. Wattie’s started supporting the ‘Cans for Good’ initiative which is an exciting national education and can collection campaign that runs over a two-week period every August, so schools can choose to run the event on the day that works best for their school calendar.

Rise Against Hunger

The Kraft Heinz Company has also partnered with Rise Against Hunger since 2013 to help undernourished children and families in developing countries around the globe reach their full potential. Kraft Heinz developed a life-changing addition to Rise Against Hunger’s meals through the Kraft Heinz Micronutrient Campaign - our company’s signature humanitarian program. We also sponsor Rise Against Hunger meal packaging events by engaging our global workforce and community members in the fight against hunger and malnutrition. Our employees have packaged more than 7.5 million meals since 2013.
