Although serving sizes do vary between different types of fruit and vegetables and different age groups, there are some basic guidelines that are handy to follow.

Your hand is a good indicator of a serving of fruit or vegetables. This means a larger adult would have a bigger handful of vegetables and therefore serving size than a small child. Wattie’s canned and frozen fruit and vegetables have made it simple for you to work out serving sizes by telling you how many serves are in each pack. Look out for the serves device on pack.
